Here are some tips for you in writing a good messages on email.
1.avoid using all caps
- you should not use all caps in writing your message especially in the plain text just because you want to emphasize on your point of view.In one or two should be fine enough.Sometime people would consider it ’shouting’
2. exclamation marks
- try not to use the exclamation marks.This is because the symbol ‘!’ is considered as spam by a software filter.Furthermore if you use a lot, it will decrease the power of your message
3. paragraphs.
- should be around six or seven lines. It can create the effectivenes of your mail.
4. standard letter format
- use standard letter format such as salutatioin and thank you because email is considered as personal communication.You respect your customers.
5. margin
- each line should appear under 55 characters because it is easy to read
6. fonts
- the best is Arial with 10pt or Verdana 10pt.
7.file attachment
- don’t send file attachment because people are afraid of virus. use a hyperlink instead.
